As part of the EOR's Diesel Weekend, this morning I was invited to witness (& capture a few images) the opening of the former footbridge at Woodford, that is now at North Weald Station. Once again I had my camera with me... with the rain easing off just at the right time for the ceremony and speeches. My best 160 images of the occasion can be found HERE
Initially there are lots of ceremonial pictures (not forgetting 55019 that is visiting), but later on (page 2) you'll see some images captured of LT liveried 20142

Thanks for the great photos, you must have been lucky with the weather, hope to try out the bridge soon.

Nice photos. Think the bridge actually came from Churchfields, didn't it, certainly not Woodford station....

Hmmmm. Not sure the NSE signage fits in; temporary signs, surely?

The NSE signs celebrate... or acknowledge... that it launched 30 years ago... nothing more or less 🤓

Hmmmm. Not sure the NSE signage fits in; temporary signs, surely? Made up by the NSE Society for the Diesel Gala and being auctioned off. Remember EOR has a Class 205 in NSE livery.
