Various assorted sources record 1972 unit 3229-4229-4329-3329 as retained for filming purposes.
Is this actually the case, if so does it still exist, and where is it kept ? Aldwych ?
The problem I have had in searching for this one is this gen is given in wikipedia, which I naturally distrust, but I can't work out whether the wikipedia gen is correct from authoritative sources, or if other sources are repeating what might be inaccurate wikidribble.
PS I wasn't sure if this is the right sub-forum to ask this question, it didn't seem appropriate to put it under Bakerloo line, so chose rolling stock.

Yes it's at Aldwych, here's a link with more info, also I can personally confirm from watching the video125 Piccadilly line DEV video that 3329 is leading. (P.S.: "Rolling stock" was a good place for this.)

The 72 mk1 is still at the Aldwych alive and well. 3329 is at the west end and 3229 is at the east end.
