Clayton CD40 construction locos

I asked the same question on WNXX and an answer supplied is owner is ATCJV = Alstom TSO Costain Joint Venture, one of the Crossrail track sub contractors.

Can anyone confirm or deny this, or otherwise enlighten this subject ?


Also does anyone know what the maker / model / power of the diesel engines is ? All the media releases wax lyrical about their exhaust emissions compliance yet not one mentions the actual engine!

Ohh for the days of journasl like Trains Illustrated and Modern Railways that always gave a tech spec with real data of anything new, not just todays edited adverisorial sound bytes.
