I see we now have a greater number of M-F a.m. services starting (turning) at Debden or Loughton, presumably to relieve overcrowding between there and Leytonstone, and also three Sunday morning trains starting from Woodford sidings and entering public service at South Woodford (shades of steam days when this happened between Loughton carriage sidings and Buckhurst Hill). There is a note that to facilitate train upgrades, one fewer train is in service, gained by turning some EB Debden terminators at Loughton

Official explanation as below. Corresponding reduction on the loop outer rail
We will be introducing a new timetable on the Central line from Sunday 7th August 2016 as part of the modernisation of the Tube. The new timetable will provide a higher frequency of service for thousands of Central line customers on one of the busiest stretches of the line. We have had to make this change because we need to undertake maintenance to the train fleet to improve reliability. However, this means there will be fewer trains out on the line. The new timetable ensures that we minimise the impact of this work and can still meet the demand of our customers across the whole line The new timetable means that more trains will depart at Epping and Loughton providing more trains for thousands of Central line customers in the morning peak. The number of through-trains from Hainault into Central London will reduce, terminating at Woodford instead, resulting in customers having to change there to continue their journey. These trains will now reverse north up the Epping branch, rather than south through to central London, and will do earlier - 5.26, 5.40 and 5.48 times departing Grange Hill. This change is being made as there are approximately ten times more passengers using the Epping branch compared to Grange Hill, Chigwell and Roding Valley stations. Under the new timetable through-services to central London remain at 06:53, 07:16 and 08:03 (timed at Grange Hill), in addition to the three trains per hour shuttle service to/from Woodford. Please note also that In the PM peak northbound, there will be three fewer trains per hour (tph) going to Debden (12tph down from 15tph), as they will now terminate at the station before (Loughton). Service frequency to Theydon Bois & Debden remains the same. We are advising customers that use Grange Hill, Chigwell, Roding Valley and Debden stations to check their journeys before they travel, so they are aware of the new timetable. The new timetable and key changes are summarised below for your information. If you have any questions on this or would like to discuss, please contact me.
