I'm looking at the Tubecheck app which gives train information for any selected station. As well as the destination, it shows the train number and something called LCID, which has a number next to it. What does the number mean?

In theory it's the Lead(ing) Car IDentifier, called from Trackernet, but generally this isn't what ends up appearing. Without seeing an example it would be hard to help further as to what the specific number is.
