A few weeks ago on a Saturday, I saw an eastbound train going to Barking, T25. T25 is part of the Ealing to Upminster service, so assumed that T25,was running late and being short tripped. However, having checked the WTT, it was dead on time. Both the front of the train and platform describes were showing Barking as the destination. Why did this happen?

Without knowing the specific day to investigate, it maybe that a train on the Wimbledon-Barking service required working back to a depot, so the easiest way is to reform T25 into Barking pfm.3/sidings and extend the Barking to Upminster for changeover?

Cheers. I meant to post the details at the time, but forgot. Now I can't remember!
