As for Surface Transport there is also a Rail and Underground Panel meeting this week. The MD's report captures the year end results for LU, Overground, TfL Rail, DLR and Trams. Not unexpectedly the rail modes have fared better than the buses have despite there being industrial action on several rail modes. The patronage increases on TfL Rail and London Overground are pretty startling.

4.5 LU’s underlying service performance met its 2015/16 targets, with full year results for both LCH and EJT better than target (excluding the impact of
industrial action). Full year performance was affected by industrial action in July to September last year and again in January and March this year. The total impact of all industrial action was just over eight million LCH. With industrial action excluded, LCH was 18.4 million, 0.4 million better than target. EJT for the year has averaged 4.58 minutes, 0.11 minutes above (worse than) target (including industrial action). Excluding industrial action, it was 0.15 minutes better than target.
4.6 Passenger journeys in 2015/16 set a new annual high at 1,349.3 million, an increase of 3.4 per cent (43.9 million journeys) from last year, and 5.6 million
more than budget.
