Yet the headline reads: LU to replace Tube staff's blunder boots
Whilst I have personal experience of an editor choosing a different headline than I had chosen.... IMO the BBC website has insinuated that LU is financing the replacement of the boots using this headline.... and has chosen not to represent who made the actual mistake or will be covering the cost !!!

(Sorry to be pinickety but can this be renamed? I remember randomly the bizarre Victoria Line incident was originally named Whoops or Oops! Beware of a random selective memory!)

(Sorry to be pinickety but can this be renamed? I remember randomly the bizarre Victoria Line incident was originally named Whoops or Oops! Beware of a random selective memory!) If you are talking about the spillage of concrete in a signal equipment room then I was responsible for that thread's initial naming, but don't remember which of the two I used. Very impressive memory though! "Oops, LU did it again" in Britney Spears voice . . . Alas, it seems it wasn't LU that did it this time :/

And it's taken me months to wear my shoes in. They've only just stopped hurting! Now I'll have to do it all over again, my poor feet.
