Shortly after 4pm yesterday afternoon (Friday 4 March) I was on a northbound/westbound train when the t/op announced, shortly after departure from Westminster, that she had just been told the train would not be stopping at Green Park but had not been told why. She advised anyone intending to alight there to seek assistance from station staff at Bond Street.
We waited between the stations for a time that I would estimate to be not inconsistent with detraining the train in front, and then passed through the station at whatever the normal not-stopping speed is. There was a hi vi-clad member of staff on the platform as we passed and what appeared to be the last two passengers making their way off the platform (to where I couldn't say).
When we arrived at Bond Street (my destination) I overheard a few passengers asking the staff member doing SATS on the platform how to get to Heathrow. He was not aware that the train had not stopped at Green Park and so had to radio to the control room to find out what advice to give. I didn't have time to hang around and find out what the situation was, but about 10-15 minutes later there was no mention of any problems on the Jubilee line or at Green Park.
Does anyone know what the issue was?
