Hi all! So basically, for many years Ive been told by a *semi* reliable source that during some point in the early 90's (possibly even earlier), late night services over the section of the Jubilee line from Finchley Road to at least Wembley Park were served by A60/62 stock as opposed to the Jubilee's own 1983 stock. My problem is I cant find any images of this nor can I find any WTT where this move is timetabled. So my question is, did this really happen? And are there any photos? Thanks

It was more that the Metropolitan line trains served the local stations at the extremes of the day between Finchley Road and Wembley Park even after the Bakerloo and then Jubilee line provided the main service. I have even seen a photo of 1938 stock in Baker Street Met platforms when the tube route was closed for engineering work.
I'm sorry that I don't have any references to offer.

Awesome, thanks for the quick response So when did the Met trains stop running the very late night/early morning services over the slow lines?

These Met trains appear in Jubilee WTT4, but are not shown in WTT5 (28 May 2000). Essentially their removal came about to facilitate the PPP and the separation of SSR and JNP infrastructure. Although JNP would end up maintaining the track on both lines over this section, continued operation of Mets via the Jubilee would have required Met trains to be fitted with Jubilee upgraded signalling - which would have been a considerable expense for few services.

JNP still manage the infrastructure from Finchley Road to just north of Wembley Park

In days gone bye when C stock used to stable at Neasden these would be the trains that called at Bakerloo/jubilee stations in the early and late periods of service. I have seen a picture of a C stock on the jubilee but never an A stock.

I have seen a picture of a C stock on the jubilee but never an A stock. I can certainly recall seeing a C stock, probably at Kings Cross, with "Wembley Park" on the destination blind. I've also seen one at there with "Wimbledon" on the blind!
