Ladies/Gents Assuming that this hasn't already been covered on the forum somewhere, what's the future with this unit (hiding on the old/disused Aldwych/Holborn branch of the Piccy Line) & who owns it? Is this the same unit that was at Northfields Depot a few months ago? I was just asking because the one in the photo IS refurbed.

Looking at the interior picture suggests it isn't refurbished, it just has a red front.

Glad you liked the pictures Chris. DOC - this isn't the same unit that was at Northfields, and it most definitely isn't refurbished. As Tom says, it only looks so because of the red front (which I believe was added fairly recently).

the red front was painted on for filming and the transport museum allready have an (unrefurbished) 1972 mk1 stock
