I believe that the two T stock sleet units which were at the Spa Valley Railway are now at Quainton. Can anyone confirm this? If true, it's excellent news.

I had a good look at the T stock when it was at the Spa Valley. very close friend was prepared to buy it and donate it to the Isle of Wight Steam Railway but they didn't seem to want it. Not to worry, it's in a good home at Quainton.
We took a load of pictures while it was at the Spa Valley.
Edited to add when I was a guard at Rickmansworth in 1973 I had to learn the T stock and Met electric locos (we had 2 then, Sarah Siddons and John Hampden) for de-icing duties, and the loc for possibly pushing errant DMUs up the bank towards Chorleywood during the autumn. Sadly I never got to work on them. Maybe I was one of the last to be trained on them in LT service?

The T Stock being hauled by Sarah Siddons would be interesting!

It's possible now because the T stock has been fitted with RCH side buffers and screw couplings. It previously had Ward couplers!
