Hi all, Does anybody have (or know where to get) some Scale plans for A60/62 stock? In order to create a model for 3D- Printing.
Regards, Josh

I wish you all the best! I remember trying to replicate something out of there before now with limited success. Out of interest, what software are you using to model it?

Thank you, SolidWorks 2014 is what I'm using. Plenty of practice required!

This is fantastic for the dimensions! But, does anyone have more precise ones? Such as with of cab-door and distance between doors. Regards, Josh

It might be a bit of a long shot, but you could try firing off a Freedom of Information request to TfL. Someone put in a request for technical drawings of a D78 and got these: www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/london_underground_d78_stock_tec (54549 specifically) which appear to be the original drawings. Given the additional age of the A60s, they might be hard pressed to find them, but they probably exist somewhere! If the worst comes to the worse, you could just try to extrapolate widths from the given lengths and the size of the images.

A60/62 drawings do exist, but its a matter of getting them though an official source. I can't give them to you.

For drawings [as built] of many different types of SS and TS [as well as LT buses, trams and trolleybuses], try www.terryrusselltrams.co.uk. Available in 4/7 and 10mm to foot scales. The website itself is well worth a rummage. They are the drawings that I use as the basis [where applicable] for most of the 7mm stuff that I build - In the main, they are simplified copies of LT GAs. There are A60 drawings in the series - I have a set and they are entirely adequate to produce 7mm models. Arun
