I have just had an email from TfL regarding Christmas and New Year services on TfL Rail
Tuesday 29 until Thursday 31 December
• Trains will run every 15 minutes on the entire line
• During peak hours, an additional train will run every 15 minutes between Liverpool Street and Chadwell Heath
Friday 1 January
• Trains will not run between Seven Kings and Shenfield from 02:25
• There will be a service on the rest of the line every 30 minutes from 02:55 until 05:30, then every 15 minutes
• Replacement buses will operate between Ilford and Shenfield
Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 January
• Trains will not run between Seven Kings and Shenfield
• There will be a service every 15 minutes on the rest of the line
• Replacement buses will operate between Ilford and Shenfield
I am just curious as to how trains are reversed at Chadwell Heath or Seven Kings. I know that you can reverse through the depot from Ilford and through the sidings at Gidea Park but don't know where the crossovers are for reversals between these points.
