I noticed back in May at the timetable change, Abellio Greater Anglia printed some 'interim' timetable booklets for the Shenfield Metro. They appeared to be unbranded but their contact details were inside.
When TfL took over the service on 31st May, we weren't treated to new booklets although the new London Overground services, even the Romford to Upminster shuttle, were graced with shiny new timetable booklets.
Forward to December and once again, TfL have nice shiny booklets appearing on leaflet racks and already online. But nothing for TfL Rail.
This prompted an email to TfL asking when the December booklets would be out.
This is their reply...
"Thanks for your email of 24 about timetables on TfL Rail.
I’ve looked into this for you and can confirm that Transport for London don’t publish hard copies as this information is available on the website.
Please see the link provided: tfl.gov.uk/modes/tfl-rail/tfl-rail-timetables
If you would like a copy I’m able to send this to you via post. If you could respond with the stations you travel from I’ll be happy to assist.
Thanks again for contacting us. If there’s anything else we can help you with, please reply to this email. Alternatively, you can speak to one of our Customer Service Advisers on 0343 222 1234 who’ll be happy to help."
So this prompted another email, I'm yet to receive a response.
"Thanks for your reply. It is still strange as TfL supply booklets for London Overground services. I'll be able to view the timetable online, can you please let me know when you are looking to publish the timetable that commences on 13th December until May 2016 as most other TOCs including London Overground have these online already. Thank you."
