Hi all,
According to the TfL website, there are closures between Turnham Green <> Richmond, Earl's Court <> Olympia and HSK <> Edgware Road. Just checking on the journey planner and I can't force it to offer me a route from Mile End through to Putney Bridge via. Earl's Court without it trying to either a) punt me on a rail replacement bus between Earl's Court and West Brompton, or b) send me via. Shepherd's Bush to West Brompton on a LO / Southern service, to connect with the district.
1) Are trains running as normal through from the east via. Earl's Court and down to Wimbledon?
2) If so, why is the journey planner being a PITA?

Revised District line train service Sat 28 Nov: - Upminster-Ealing Broadway, every 10min - High Street Kensington-Wimbledon, every 10min - Tower Hill-Wimbledon, every 20min - Barking-Wimbledon, every 20min - Upminster-Richmond, every 10min no replacement buses operate, except: the last train to Richmond (00.56 at Turnham Green) will be replaced by a bus. Revised District line train service Sun 29 Nov: - Upminster-Wimbledon, every 10min - High Street Kensington-Wimbledon, every 20min - Tower Hill-Wimbledon, every 20min – Barking-Ealing Broadway, every 10min – High Street Kensington-Olympia, every 20min replacement buses: Richmond-Kew Gardens-Gunnersbury-Chiswick Park-Turnham Green. Revised Circle and Hammersmith & City lines train service: - Edgware Road-Barking (via Victoria), every 10min - Hammersmith-Edgware Road, every 10min - On Monday 30 Nov, the 05.31 Richmond to Upminster service will start from Ealing Common depot instead. No rail replacement bus will operate. Passengers must be advised to travel on the 05.47 service instead. |
