When all the S stock is delivered & all heavy maintenance will be done at Neasden Depot ie Programme Lift,Heavy Overhaul & possibly Shed Day,will there be S7 diagrams that start on H&C or District & stable at Neasden & vice versa?

S7 heavy maintenance is designed to be carried out at Ealing Common and Upminster. Hammersmith is currently being downgraded to sidings status.

When the S stock was first mooted the plan was for all heavy work to be centered at Neasden with just stuff like exams, cleaning & running repairs being done at Ealing & Upminster.Has that idea been dropped?

There was intended to be a heavy maintenance facility at Neasden to do what you suggest. This is no longer viable for various reasons so an alternative approach of sharing the work around the depots is being planned, for which additional facilities at the depots will be needed. Work on this should start in 2016. The exact mix of work at each depot I don't know.

Yes,the original plan was for the Jubliee to move out of Neasden altogether & double up the stabling roads at Stanmore & put in some additional roads at SMD to make room for stabling the S7s at Neasden.

There is a road at Ealing that has been equipped to lift a whole train in one go - I'm hiking a couple of trainees there on Thursday so I'll try and get a couple of piccies if no one's looking
