Trundling into EB this evening in my antiquated 92 stock, I noticed a veritable pile of the old shunt signals piled up on plt 7.
Are they ripping the old pneumatic signals out to be replaced by fibre optics?

More then likely be used as a dumping ground for the time being. But under the resignalling Ealing Broadway won't change to how it will be soon

Been decommissioned since last October 2014 but not seen a train on the sidings for many many years

I've seen it used last Easter (or Christmas? I can't remember!) by engineers trains and more recently this week before it was ripped out. As I'm not near my local EBY, I wish there were high quality flikr pics of the job! The district twitter feed is just the odd picture here and there  |
