Before the Victoria Line opened 67TS transferred to N/Park via Leyton Junction between battery locos, after the line opened any stock transfers from Hainault to N/Park was done under their own power(via Ealing Bdwy) Why did they need to be transferred to Newbury Park? ;-) :-D Northumberland Park ...

Leyton Junction -- think you mean Leyton Station Jc (and then via Loughton Branch Jc)? Carto Metro is wrong on both these names...

Could the connection between Ilford BR and Newbury Park have been used for stock transfer? when was that lifted?

Yes, Tut is correct. The connection to Seven Kings went about then, and the chord of the triangle towards Ilford just after electrification (so as to facilitate construction of the depot). So in effect Newbury Park was the end of a long branch for freight from Woodford Junction until the end of coal traffic in the mid-60s. By the way, if you search for Loughton 1960 on youtube, you will come across a charming (if brief) pic of Loughton goods station, with box vans being unloaded into BR Scammells, and a horse and cart to complete the period scene. The pic of the passenger station is ruined by a light flash, though.
