I once came across a website once that documented a guided tour around Wood lane disused station and the old White city depot. Can any one tell me where I can find it??

I think it might be this one on Davros: Wood Lane Study TourThere's quite a few other pictures and descriptions of the area I found whilst trawling about looking for this.

My late father (employee of LT at the time) wrote an article entitled 'Wood Lane Memories', published in the Railway World annual of 1975. I'd be happy to send a copy to anyone interested - just PM me. He based the article on a site tour of his own and reminiscences of his own father, who had started out life on the Central London Railway based at Wood Lane.

Can any part of the old Wood Lane Station still be seen? I doubt it. The whole area was re-developed to build the Westfield Centre, the once surface depot is now underground. The boiler and power houses still stand, adjacent to the bus station. The old frontage on Wood Lane was removed, not sure once renovated if it's to be displayed at Acton or Covent Garden.

Depends what the original poster means by seen. The eastbound platform was removed in order for its site to be used by the new reception road needed for the new sidings - the tunnel in which the platform formerly resided remains albeit now housing the additional track. You can catch a quick glimpse of this space from a train, on the left side shortly after leaving White City eastbound. The westbound platform was untouched by the work, and lies outside the boundaries of the Westfield development. It formerly sat alongside the main access road for the old depot, and as far as I know when the track was removed the site was basically left as it was. Unless anyone knows different, this remains the case. Needless to say this cannot be seen from passenger/public areas. The loop platform and surface building all went as part of the Westfield works. The only tangible remains above ground is the power house, one half now serving as a substation for the Central Line, replacing that demolished as part of the Westfield works.

If you look very carefully you can make out the remains of the green and white tiling from the old platform on the reception road.
