I coming down to London on Friday and wonder where the best station would be to spot without causing to much bother and attention to myself.

If you just want to spend time on the Northern Line, Kennington would be the best place as you can view both Bank & Charing Cross branch trains.

Stratford is a good place to see lots of different types! If you're lucky you might see a C2C train (like I did on Sunday )
