Hi
I'm thinking about becoming a Museum Freind for the first time and I'm not to sure about joining can anyone help me decide? I mean what's good and what's bad if there are any.

Well i joined a couple of months ago, the magazine you get is interesting and discounts in the shop are always welcome  |

If you can afford to join, it's probably worth doing; there's a quarterly magazine, 10-20% discount on the shop (inc. online purchases), and you get free entry to both the Covent Garden and Acton Depot sites. It also opens further doors to volunteering if you're interested, early access to events and tours (and discounts on those too), as well as Friends-only trips.
I've been a member for around 5 years now, and although I now work for TfL and get many of the same benefits I've remained a member and would encourage others to join. (Although less said about CStockGate the better...)
