Few pointers from me: The barman moquette (no 4) is also used on the Northern and Jubilee lines The pizza chef moquette (no 5) was introduced later in the D stock's life, not entirely sure, but one of the District T/Ops can elaborate The C stock moquettes (nos 8 & 12) were all used on Circle, Hammersmith and City, and District line services (hence the colour choices!). No 12 was replaced by no 8, which remained until withdrawal The current district line moquette (no 19) was introduced during series refurbishment, appearing late 2004 The tramlink moquette (no 29) was introduced 2008 during refurbishment. Prior to that, a blue moquette with yellow spots was used (since 2000) - just about visible hereThere is also the new TfL rail moquette, another colour variation on the overground/tramlink style moquette Hopefully some of the other more experienced users can give you some more pointers for dates

Thank you, domh245, that's really helpful!
I've added in your improvements, the two additional moquettes and numbers for easier referencing.

Do be careful with the TfL rail photo I linked, because it does contain both the standard and 'priority' moquettes, and unfortunately, being a South Londoner, I've yet to see it in the flesh ams can't tell you which one is which! But perhaps you could include the priority moquettes for tfl rail, tramlink, and the overground to make it a bit more difficult.

Just one seat has the strong red and the rest are more green so I've gone for the more green one, guessing it's not the priority moquette. Ideally I'd like the game to be accessible by a wide range of people, so I need to make sure some sections are quite easy. Moquette is one of the toughest sections, and that's without the priority designs!
Will the Crossrail moquette probably match TfL Rail?

Pleased to say the restoration of BEA coach MLL738 is as complete as it can be, now restoring MLL721

I've just had some BEA coach moquette made. Similar to Green Line stuff from the 1950's but a mustard colour. I bet no-one would guess it if they saw it, lol.

Having done a little bit more looking around, I can add a bit more. 2 - S stock moquette, designed to represent the 4 lines the S stock work on. 5 - was introduced around 2002 and was retired with the last unrefurbished D stock in february 2008 12 - introduced as part of a trial refurbishment of the C stock, which would date it to about 1989 15 - the A stock moquette was retired with the last A stock train in September 2012 20 - This moquette was the moquette introduced by Tube Lines (one of the 2 private companies brought in to modernise the tube around 2003). It was used on all of their lines, the Jubilee, Northern, and Piccadilly. 33 - Is this a better photo? Bigger is always better right? As for the example of the 'remade' moquette you've posted, I think that is a good balance between realism and stylised, but you might have more of a job with the more messy moquettes

(My apologies for the ridiculously slow response -- had to head offline for a while but am slowly working on the game again now.) For the moquettees I've added in your dates and stock info and updated the photo for the Croydon Tramlink -- again, thanks, really helpful. I also appreciate your feedback on the artwork I've made, the balance between realism and stylised is a bit tricky. My method is to make the artwork in solid blocks of colour in vector graphics (Adobe Illustrator) and then after put it through textured filters (Photoshop) that add the woven look. The moquettes will take me a bit of time to redraw but it's really the platform tiles that worry me! My hope is that TfL will assist with some of the artwork. So far they've been incredibly supportive, currently they're processing my licence agreement. -Alef
