I have just wasted 30 mins of my life trying to do this, and ended up going round in circles via their switchboard does anyone have a number i can get through on rather than the merry go round that is 0343 2221234 and 0343 222 0000 I wish to suggest a name for one of the proposed tunnelling machines to be used on the northern line extension and have a great 'hook' and PR coup for them. so can anyone help please?
Oh i might add that up until this attempt i have found everyone who is customer facing on the Oyster line without exception to be the most helpful and polite bunch i people i have had the pleasure to deal with. They are a credit to TfL.. But as always the PR Dept always screws it up!!! you would think they should know better

Neither of those two numbers are on the press page as a contact number anyway, which is probably why you are having problems.
Go to the TfL website's media section for the correct contact details.

There is an E Mail address there. tfl.gov.uk/info-for/media/On the one occasion I have used it I had a quick response and clarification and decent service.

I did. As I noted, you're not phoning the numbers listed on the website's media contacts division, which is why you having difficulties. Go to the website media section, and dial the correct phone number.
