Does anyone have information about the gradient profile between Quainton Road Junction and Verney Junction? I am making a virtual model in Microsoft Train Simulator of routes which include many of the lines in Buckinghamshire and while I know the track plans for this far flung part of the Metropolitan Railway, I can't find any info about the gradients.

I've checked my copy of 'The Brill Tramway' by Bill Simpson, it has the gradient profile that you require on page 111.

Thank you for the info, Phil. I will have to track down a copy of Bill Simpson's book.

I'm sorry to take so long to respond. A few years ago MRFS offered to email copies of the Metropolitan Railway gradient profiles from 1921. Original thread here: Metropolitan Gradients. I asked for a copy and have just found it in my computer files. It includes the gradients from Quainton Road to Verney Junction, but not of the Brill Tramway. If you (or anyone else) PMs me, I'd be happy to forward MRFS' document.
