Hi everyone. I unfortunately lost my Oyster wallet last night which contained my Staff Pass and other bank cards somewhere around Ilford & Gants Hill last night. Does anyone know the quickest way to get the Staff Pass replaced and also to report it lost? I tried to contact Staff Travel but I was told by Customer Services that they aren't open on weekends and that there's no way of reporting it lost to TfL until Monday. Is this true? Thanks for any help and advice in advance.

If you've access to the intranet you can report a lost pass that way. There's an online form either you of your manager can complete for you. I did one for a member of my staff a couple of weeks ago.
It still won't be processed until after the weekend though.

Okay no worries. I don't have access to the Intranet unfortunately as I'm back to work on Monday so will just ring Staff Travel on Monday. Thanks for your reply.

You need to phone up Staff Travel to cancel your existing pass, and then, separately, send off for a replacement.
This will cost £10 for a replacement photo card and Oyster card, with additional charges if you also hold a PTAC. The form can either be done electronically by your manager, or you can get a paper form to fill out with the relevant information, get it signed by your manager, and then returned to Staff Travel by fax.
The replacement should be issued within 5 working days of receipt of the fax, and I suggest ringing them up to confirm they've received the form whichever way you do it!

Thanks for your reply. Only just checked back on here. I sent the fax on Monday through manager and rang them an hour later to confirm they had received it. Just a waiting game now, hopefully will be here early next week at the latest!

Your manager is able to give you a letter of authority to travel on the underground, I was given one by my tossm when I was off sick, and on crutches and had to get to London for hospital appointment and had forgotten my wallet. It is (I was told) in the rules that they are able to do that.
