You may recall that a couple of months ago there was a thread here on the topic of Cravens Heritage Trains.
You may be interested to read the content of a 'flyer' which is shortly to be sent round to the members of this august body, as supplied to me by our very own 'nutter'.

‘LOUGHTON 150’
PLANNING IS GOING AHEAD TO CELEBRATE THE ARRIVAL OF THE RAILWAY IN LOUGHTON 150 YEARS AGO ON 22 AUGUST 1856
It is hoped that the celebrations will take place over the weekend nearest the original opening date in August 2006
Celebrations will feature a special Central Line service terminating at Loughton with the service from there to Epping being covered by the Cravens unit and possibly the Museum’s 1938 TS unit
There are also plans to open the new Central Line Staff Facilities at Loughton to the public together with the former Loughton Signal Cabin. Epping Signal Cabin and L11 along with a proposed Bus Rally
