Not 100% sure where all the data comes from so may not be entirely accurate. May just use expected arrival times from TfL info. Interesting nonetheless I thought! The website also has live train maps for some mainline services. traintimes.org.uk/map/tube/

Your link is giving me an error page, although I have a feeling that's because of how the site owner has configured referrals...
...anyway. The data appears to be properly live, no doubt using the "open" feed from TrackerNet. It compares positively with the actual TrackerNet sat next to me!

The actual link has, for some reason, a %A0 in it (which is a non-breaking space). This should work.
I've copied Tut's link above to the original post so all should work now. Thanks Tut. Londonstuff

I clicked on one of the trains and this is the information which showed up.
Hammersmith & Circle train to Ealing Broadway [117-123] expected South Kensington Station in 1.5 minutes
Hmmm... is the train lost?
What did 117-123 mean?
I also saw that some Piccadilly Line trains had broken free and were following alternative routes, such as along the Uxbridge Road. Or was that the ghost of the West London Tramway?

Some quite weird stuff happens.
I just watched a train jump the tracks at Perivale and head to the west of Ealing Broadway - off rail - at around 1200 mph!

It's good seeing where they are, but no where they're heading to. I just clicked on a Metropolitan line that is apparently going to Circle Line...

At the time of this posting there is only one train on the H&C line between Hammersmith and Paddington. It's been sitting stationary, presumably sulking about having to do all the work itself, for around 10 minutes.
It seems all the rest have escaped and are now rampaging around all areas of London at hundreds of miles an hour.

(I appreciate I'm probably very late to the party..) When I googled it the link it brings up for the TfL website brings you to a page which is not longer active. Or has been moved.

AIUI, very basically, magic.
Or, the system that LU uses to keep track of its trains.

Matthew Somerville has also produced a similar realtime map of the bus network. If I didn't have the ironing to do, I could watch it for hours (well. many minutes...)

Currently (still) no trains on the H&C between Hammersmith and Paddington.
There's one train in the corner of Kensington Gardens that looks as if it's trying to make for the Serpentine but something seems to be frightening it, as it keeps jumping back.

Currently (still) no trains on the H&C between Hammersmith and Paddington. There never will be; the equipment in that area isn't able to report to trackernet and provide real time information - also why there are no DMIs along that stretch of track! There's one or two other areas that can be a bit 'squiffy'. J
