How long has the livery been applied... I ask as the cars look a little grubby

To my eyes these liveries do not comply with the legal requirement for contrasting colour doors. Or is the cream border on some of the door edges sufficient to still comply with the legislation?

At least one of them has now had the seat covers replaced with Soc Gen red ones advertising the World Cup sponsorship. Looks quite odd at first and makes the interior look different too. I did hear some less than polite comments from punters when they saw the vinyl as in great, all we need is a French bank reminding us every day that we did not get tickets to the Rugby World Cup. Did make me chuckle as they have a point

Is this just for the W&C? It seems an odd line to do liveried trains on if you ask me!

Just the W&C I think, but then I use it more than other lines. Guess the thinking is Twickenham is accessed from Waterloo so you capture commuters to the City coming via Waterloo and people heading to Waterloo for matches as well.

The train involved is 65503-67503+67504-65504.

Nice livery probably the first time the Waterloo and city has had advertising livery on one of it's trains.

Can check tonight but I am thought I saw it last week (my mind may be kidding me on that though). The inside of the cars on W&C still have the Soc Gen adverts but now referencing the RWC being over. I have been walking in from Waterloo in the morning so only catch them in the evening.

Thanks w9 but I did manage to get there yesterday - it is still in AOA livery, the special seating is still there (although looking rather dirty now) and the interior adverts have been changed, referring to the fact that the RWC has ended but the team spirit lives on!

Still on the set as of Friday 27.
Regarding the contrasting doors, as one of the people the regulation is aimed at, I agree this livery isn't very clear. However, I wonder if the W&C can get a derogation on the basis that all doors open at all stations (so you can tell where they are by the big holes in the side of the train).

Isn't that true of all Underground trains? or, at least, if SDO is in operation, the contrasting colour isn't going to help tell you which doors are not going to open.

Quite like the red seat covers - if only because they are different.
