I'm currently on a train between Wimbledon and south Kensington, stood next to the rear cab, and there is an alarm going off in said cab, which has been going on since Wimbledon. It is a high pitched beep about every second, and whilst it doesn't appear to be impeding train movement, its certainly getting on everyone's nerves! Any idea what it is?

I've never heard the alarm, but it could be the intruder alarm. This sounds if an unathorised person gains access to the cab. I would imagine the driver is aware of the fault, and has tried to rectify it without success.

Either the rear J Door isn't closed or the door contact is defective. There is a double ender with the same defect usually in the middle DM it may be the same unit. This will continue top sound whilst the driver's control key is in so you're stuck with it.
