Hi guys, would any of you know if cockfosters has somewhere to park/lock a push bike? Sorry to hijack this thread, I didn't want to waste a new thread with a trivial question thanks

I've moved the above post from the Finsbury Park ticket hall thread to a new post/thread here. its far more likely that you'll get an answer to your question via a new thread, rather that to stick it onto a completely different threat/subject matter elsewhere. Regards ChrisW

I've been doing some searching to try and find the answer to this, but to no avail. I can tell you that there is a new cycle rack at Finsbury Park that TfL are happy to tell you about, and there is a list of which stations in the City have cycle parking, but nothing about anywhere else. I did find www.urbancycleparking.org.uk/ which is a project to map all the existing cycle parking in London, and to request cycle parking where there isn't any currently. There doesn't seem to be any easy way to browse what has already been added or requested that I can find though.

Its a long time since I used it but I just had a quick look on Google maps which when last filmed confirmed there was still a cycle storage area within the official station car park. I cannot vouch for how secure it is, but there is a steel shelter which you could possibly chain your bike to and I guess the CCTV may be operational. maps.google.co.uk/maps?ll=51.65152,-0.14915&z=15&cid=15278133234753026021&q=cockfosters+tube+station&output=classic&dg=ntvo Hope that helps
