I see that there is a suspension in place... I wonder how long it will last? I am presuming that this was relatively minor?

It was in the early hours of this morning just after midnight, so I guess it's quite serious as it's still 'ongoing'.

Is it a rail grinder? Given it's derailed twice in a few hours that's the only thing I can think of that has a predeliction for derailment (experience on the Vic Line years ago).

Two battery locomotives, two flat wagons and a tamper has been reported elsewhere; the derailment was in the Holland Park area for those not aware.

Battery locos have been known to derail fairly often. Maybe, but this was reported to be the fourth vehicle from the front, which was a wagon.
