I've just been having a little look at the Metropolitan line timetable, and I'm having trouble visualising the route taken by 461D.
461D is booked to depart Neasden depot at 15 43 and runs "to Depot Recep Road arr 15 47", forming the 15 53½ "ex Depot Recep Road", passing Neasden at 15 58½ and arriving at Finchley Road at 16 04 to enter service. The Depot Working table lists it as starting at 15 43 K - i.e. via Klondyke Sidings and North End.
So, presumably whichever train is selected to become 461D starts from somewhere in the bowels of Neasden depot at 15 43 and makes its way to the Depot Reception Road at the North End of the Depot. My question is: just which road does this refer to? There's certainly more than one that looks to me like it could reasonably be called a/the "Depot Recep Road". My second question is: am I right to deduce that the driver then changes ends and it departs at 15 53½ running via Klondyke Sidings before exiting via the South End to pass Neasden at 15 58½ and run down to Finchley Road?

Whichever road is convenient, but No 2 Road for preference. That's correct.
