I've always liked the Yerkes & Leslie Green Stations with the oxblood coloured tiles and patterned platform tubes. I am very shocked to see whats been done at Chalk Farm. Booking hall looks OK, because the green 'Acanthus Leaf' tiles have been replaced with like-for-like tiles. The platform areas leave a lot to be desired. The low level tiles, have been left, yet those about two feet above platform level have been replaced, and there is a clear 'divide' between old and new. You just cannot fail to notice it. Also, where the old tiles were cut to shape to go round a corner, the new ones have just been roughly cut and the resultant gap has just been filled in with cement and shoddily painted. Cally Road on the Pic is suffering a similar fate. I'm appalled that such architecture is being wilfully destroyed.

As per a couple of other posts on this site. I too am outraged at the sheer shoddy workmanship and lack of attention to detail displayed nowerdays.
This seems a genral trend in all walks of life. No one can be bothered
If thats what happens with the stations. What happens with the Track

Oxford Circus is a joke to be honest.
It's just bare cement on the walls (it looks like) nothing on there at all - the only thing i can think of is it they are in the middle of a refurb. Either way- they should be shamed!

The odd part is that some of the Yerkes refurbs (like Tufnell Park) are actually quite good!
