I noticed around 1-2 pm the central line had a power failure in the Acton / Ealing and around the same time there were delays on the Bakerloo and District lines due to power failures. Were these failures related, what was the cause and why did the central line have such long delays.

I travelled on an EB Central Line at about 2 northwards from Stratford. At every station, it pulled up short; at Loughton, it stalled on the points leading to the centre road. Coincidence or connected?

The escalators at a few stations including Marble Arch lost power, but were restarted after a few minutes. All connected to the power surges apparently.
