I once read a story about a girl named Thelma Ursula Beatrice Eunice* (IIRC) who was born on an LU tube train sometime in the days of the LPTB. Has anyone else been born on a tube train?
To expand on the question, have any other events (including the ones in the thread title) ever taken place on the Underground?

Once had a group of undertakers waiting on the westbound at East Ham complete with coffin and top hats. I was Guard at the time. Seeing the look on my face one of them said 'Don't worry mate there's nothing in it' 'We've just come down from the CLC and the motors broke down' 'We gotta get back to Upton Park to send the next stiff off' Quite a jolly bunch of lads they were too.

You had them 'circle line parties' a few years back. The thing's I've seen when changing ends...well, you'd think they'd at least save it until the actually got home...but no, anywhere will do. I've seen Batman & Robin and Spiderman waiting at TCR and Oxo C before. Just waiting for Catwoman to appear. ;D

A few years? The last Circle Line Party was held in 2004 and was only terminated due to the criminal elements buggering it up.
Apparently they are not illegal per se, but I believe the anti-fun sensors of TfL and the BTP only permit the party to run for a little while before it gets cut off....

Was it really that recent? My memory must be going ;D Well, as long as they have a ticket, and dont damage things, I can't see what harm it does.

Didn't someone buy the farm on a Bakerloo train and was removed by the guard and sat on a bench as said guard didn't want to hold the train up (perhaps he was on a promise ;D)
