I was just watching Silent Witness ( Falling angles part 1) on iPlayer as I knew part of it was filmed on the tube. There is a part where the police are chasing someone down the tracks. The tracks are 'live' as trains are running but you see the guy run past a crid that is placed on the current rails xD

crid? I thought it was an SCD (Short-circuiting device)? But yes, one of many inconsistencies; still a good watch if you can resist the urge to be irked by the errors.

Sorry, you are right. I am thinking of the two boxes connected with a lead between them. That SCD is one of the newer types.

Despite the numerous errors, I enjoyed it. Remember 99.9% of people watchng it won't know what's tube accurate or not.

I remember the films Creep and Skyfall were full of tube related mistakes.

I remember the films Creep and Skyfall were full of tube related mistakes. As a fantasy film, Skyfall is full to the brim with other far more unlikely scenarios than the tube stuff. Despite this, it's a cracking film. Funnily enough when I saw it somebody behind me was wittering on about the tube inaccuracies (in the cinema at Scunthorpe of all places). In the end I had to turn round and tell him to shut up as he was ruining the film for everybody!

There was an episode of Sherlock called The Empty Hearse near the end they enter a tube train (eather a 67ts or a 72ts), inside however it turns into a D stock!

Is that what it's called? Sounds like she's waking the dead!
