Hello from Diana, long time since I have written here. This is an apology to the nice man at Canada Water station who had to come over to the lift this morning because Little Diana aged 2 from her pram pushed the Emergency button in the lift, it is just where little fingers get to and all nicely lit up bright. Now although a voice said 'hello emergency' and we said back to the voice 'no, it was only our baby pressed the button', when we got up to the tickets there was an alarm going off woo-woo-woo and the man had to come over with the BIG bunch of the keys to do something, and he looked down at LD and said 'ooooh, who pressed the alarm', and she just giggled, I was too embarrassed to look, but I said 'sorry' and the man said 'not a problem', probably apart from having to work out which of the keys to use.

I find the majority of LU staff are helpful and pleasant if you are polite and pleasant to them.
You get the odd grump, of course, but you can always just assume they are having an off day.
Nice that he interacted with the child, though, as that can really make your day when you're that young.
