Tonight I had the pleasure of being an audience member for a recording of Celebrity Mastermind to be broadcast over Christmas. I was pleasantly surprised when one celeb declared their chosen specialist subject as "The history London Underground"; I got one more point than them and we both passed on the same question! #smug

Damn! I forgot you were in the audience, I would have sky+ it to see if I could spot you. Tbh I didn't think the questions were that hard, considering it was supposed to be a specialist subject.

Yeah, even HWMBO got most right; though he was embarrassed to get the Greathead Shield question wrong - considering he's a Chartered Civil Engineer! I'm not particularly visible as I had a dark top on - I was on the back row just over John's left shoulder though if you're desperate to spot me! |

Thanks for the link-I'll have a 2nd look to see if I can do a moderator spot later today! I got 11, too-I didn't get the name of Ken Livingstone's first Transport Commissioner, but I did get the Greathead Shield right and the wartime cartoon character on which John & you passed. He apparently featured on the trams as well & my late Mother told me wherever 'he' turned up, Tube, tram or bus, people inevitably pencilled in a rude retort to his sanctimonious prattling! Just as long as SHE didn't add anything to one!! |
