Great stuff PP! ;D ;D What a beautiful layout - would certainly be nice to have that on the floor these days, huh?

The operators would love it as it provides maximum flexibility. However the S&T and the P-Way departments might have different views - especially where their budgets were concerned.

In the 1932 photo of Acton Town Cabin, the South Acton branch is double track, did the service to and from South Acton go beyond Acton Town?
Also was there a London Transport Signal Cabin at South Acton?

did the service to and from South Acton go beyond Acton Town? Quote from "HISTORY of the METROPOLITAN DISTRICT RAILWAY COMPANY to June 1908 by Alexander Edmonds" "1905. HOUNSLOW LINE On June 13th South Acton Station was opened for passenger traffic, the traffic between Houslow Barracks and South Acton worked electrically and second class bookings with Hounslow Line Stations abolished."
