This may sound like a stupid question, and i am pretty sure that the answer will be very obvious when i hear it, but does anyone know where i could find some photos of the station still in use? Specifically photos with trains in them, possibly from platform level.
All the photos that i have seen show the station buildings.

Can any part of the station still be seen when passing on the Central line?

Can any part of the station still be seen when passing on the Central line? I think some remains of Platform 3 can be seen when leaving White City eastbound

The old Wood Lane roundel was, for many years after closure, visible from an eastbound train passing the former platform. It was removed when they demolished the platform to make way for the new sidings.

Thanks, but most of those pictures show the station after closing.

Yep, there's one from 1928 with train in J.E.Connor's "London's Disused Underground Stations". Capital Transport ISBN 1-85414-250-X. Also has a couple from platform level when still in use, but no train there. Book is apparently in stock on Capital Transport's website, too and transportdiversions.com.

No, the ones referred to were enamel ones, not the mosaic that was on the station building. The tiles are still visible but all traces of the platform have been removed.

The old Wood Lane roundel was, for many years after closure, visible from an eastbound train passing the former platform. It was removed when they demolished the platform to make way for the new sidings. Funnily enough, the glazed tiles from the now demolished plt 4 are still there. The platform itself is now gone, but the tiles can be seen on the sidings access road. Probably not viewable from a passing train, but certainly to a driver entering/exiting the sidings if he looks carefully.

Is the old depot at White City gone now or are the sidings still used? I assume most of it is now underneath the shopping mall.

The surface sidings are completely gone, now built over by the Westfield Centre. All the sidings are now underground, this was part of the total redevelopment. The only tangible remains above ground are the twin power house buildings, one used as a Central Line substation, the other as a bus stand. The below-ground parts of Wood Lane station survive partially intact, being outside the Westfield site. The new White City Sidings are on a slightly different site to the old depot.
