Problems on the eastern end of the line today. Got on an Epping bound train at Stratford and was told that it was being diverted to Newbury Park due to trespassers on the the track at Snaresbrook. When we got to Leytonstone we were held and then told that the train would now be going to Epping although slowly. We stopped about halfway to Snaresbrook and the T/Op told us that the current was being turned off and that they were going to empty the first car and allow the police to board from the track and once the power was restored continue to Snaresbrook. As we were in the last car we could not see what was happening, but when we arrived at Snaresbrook there were a number of Police on the platform. Anyone have anymore details?

Most likely arrested the trespassers and used the front coach to transport them under arrest.

Indeed Bassmike.
The three tresspassers were a young lady with mental health issues who evaded her two carers. Female went trackside followed by her carers.

I presume the corecct thing for the carers to have done would be not to follow but to press the emergency button on the nearest platform help point? Or phoned 999?
