Hi Everyone,
I notice the original station clock from Harrow-On-The-Hill booking hall has been missing for some weeks now. Is it being overhauled somewhere? Does anybody know who looks after the older Underground clocks?
Thanks
Jason

Does LU still have a clock department, used to be a section of the signal department ?

I'd like to find out what's happened to it as it is one of my local stations. I can give you a hand if you like!

Does anyone have a picture of what it looked like? I was in the clock department today and saw a few clocks but I would not be able to point out which clock belongs where (even with HOTH being one of my local stations)

It is lamentable that public clocks are in decline. However one was recently installed in Leeds. You can just see it here. The wording on the dial states it was installed "for the benefit of gardeners and the like."

Could the clock have been taken down because Pinner residents were complaining that it continued to run "fast" even off-peak?

There are a few clocks that look like that one so it could be possible one of them is the one from HOTH.

Pleased to see the clock is back when I used the station today! Also pleased that it has just had a gentle clean and not over-restored like the clocks at Aldgate East.
