Gosh that's going back a long way! From memory (I'm in Botswana at the moment!) I think there were: 4tph Uxbridge-Aldgate 2tph Uxbridge-Baker st 2tph Watford-Aldgate (SF) 2tph Watford-Baker st 2tph Amersham-Aldgate (F) 2tph Amersham-Baker st (SF) 2tph Chalfont-Chesham
All stations unless stated with fast and semi fast trains missing northwick park, Preston road and wembley park. Those were the days!
The service dropped a great deal in the evenings with the watfords reduced in number and to Baker Street along with fewer uxbridge trains and the Amersham semis stopped. I hope this is all correct it's been a while!!

I don't think the Baker Street - Amersham semi-fast service ran at that time. I'm sure it was introduced a few years later circa 1996/97.

This was in the early days of the off peak services to Aldgate, which began in 1990. I know that in 1990 it was 4tph from Uxbridge to Aldgate with 4tph from Watford to Baker Street. You then had 2tph Amersham to Aldgate fast with 2tph on the Chesham shuttle.

By chance I happen to have a copy of Working Timetable 296, which was valid from 11th May 1992, and now that I've located it I can confirm that the off peak service was:
2 trains per hour Aldgate to Amersham (trains numbered 1 to 5) 2 trains per hour Chalfont to Chesham (train number 7) 4 trains per hour Baker St to Watford (trains numbered 11 to 17) 4 trains per hour Aldgate to Uxbridge (trains numbered 21 to 27 and 30 & 31)
The late evening (after 2200), and also the Sunday service, was
2 trains per hour Aldgate to Amersham 2 trains per hour Chalfont to Chesham 3 trains per hour Baker St to Watford 3 trains per hour Aldgate to Uxbridge

Good gracious that timetable brings back some memories. I was a BC2 based at either Watford/Croxley back then. I always remembered the 3TPH on a Sunday. We would have fun if on the odd occasion one was cancelled possibly a 40 minute gap for a passenger who had JUST missed the prior train. When I was upgraded to SS(MF) on a nice summer Sunday would go for a walk along the trackside looking for a "reported" lineside obstruction. Halcyon days!

Ah yes those extra trains must have come in later. I certainly remember the 3tph on Sundays- you didn't want to be missing a train then!!
