Although Alan wasn't talking about my fine features , I was in that episode briefly, moving that defective D stock off High St. Ken, but my trainee didn't wish to be on TV so most of the footage of me was edited out. Having met you (T/op D78) at the Met bar in December, and watching that episode tonight on DVD I see what you mean. I didn't think LU issued polo shirts at the time, or is it a normal one obscured by the cab window?

in the same prog in which we saw seniorpiccdriver, we have a female T/Op who is having her sweat day. She's on the way to Edgware, and we suddenly cut to somewhere else! Nice continuity I must say... I also spent virtually 20 minutes picking holes in each episode, busily mumbling expletives at the TV set. Y'know when this series was first started, I missed the entire run. Foolish me thinking it would be good to see it, writes to ITV Carlton, enquiring if they were gonna release it on DVD. Gets a reply, they say if I wanna purchase the programmes, its £75 plus VAT per episode. You can Fox-Trot Oscar say I and ask a very polite forum member if he may be so kind as to help me!

I phoned LWT to enquire about a recording of 'The James Whale Show' (anyone remember that on a Friday night? I should have been in bed really as I was only about 12 when it was on) and the figure I got was around £250 I can live without it a bit longer I think...................

It was a then standard Tesco style short sleeved shirt. ;D ;D Must have just been obscured by the windows.

I have worked with the particular RCI some members are eluding to, and maybe he is a bit hyper, but I have never seen him be out of order. Dont forget RCI's have to take a lot of rubbish and adopt a second skin and deal [along with station staff] with particularly unpleasant people.
My favourite moment is when he is at Camden Town [revenue blackspot btw] RCI says "your on my station" chav says "yer grandad left it to yer did he" Class. ;D

You must like him a lot to bounce a thread this high ;D
Yes I like that particular moment, so much so I wanted to see the bit they didn't show of him cleaning "his station." Now that's a really rubbish job.
Does he just possess Camden, or does he also claim to own whole chunks of line?

He is revenue on the Northern/Victoria lines. At least he says hello, unlike a lot of revenue. Some really have no personality.

I can see what he meant. Its "our" station in that we are responsible for it running smoothly and receive little thanks for it.

In the first series, the infamous Dan East was featured [minus his dvd player and selection of films] Not a proud moment for the Northern.
