As most of you are aware the Bakerloo WTT numbering system uses depot of origin ie:201-217 Stonebridge Pk 221-227 Queen's Pk 231-247 London Rd & Elephant For about 6 months in the mid 90s the Bakerloo actually ran a WTT with numbering showing what service the train was on ie:201-217 Elephant-Harrow service 221-247 Elephant-Queen's Pk/Stonebridge Pk service 251 onwards-Stonebridge Pk off peak stablers.

Do you know which timetable, please, as my WTT notes (which go back to 1915) do not reflect this. Certainly when there was dedicated "Watford" and "Local Stock" (up to 1939), and in the early days of the Stanmore service, the QP/Watford services were separate from the Stanmore, apart from during starting and stabling times. I am fairly sure that when the Bakerloo was separated from the Jubilee crew wise (they worked on both lines in the early days of the Jubilee), it was deliberate that services didn't work on the same route so as to give crews some open air running during a duty.

.... unless it was during the planned shut-downs south of Piccadilly Circus when special TTNs (Timetable Notices) applied?

WTT18 effective from 02/06/96 and WTT18A effective from 29/09/96 incorporated train numbering based on off peak service group Mon-Sat only (201+ EC-HW, 221+ EC-QP/SP) and midday stablers (241+) Mon-Fri . The Sunday service was the traditional sequential numbering based on depot/siding start up location. WTT19 effective from 10/11/96 was for the blockade south of Piccadilly Circus saw train numbering all week revert back to sequential on depot/sidings start up location as was WTT20 effective 14/07/97 when services resumed across the entire line.

I can still remember the old numbering system(pre Jubliee Line)started at 121 & went up to 171/2/3/4 which were the 4 trains stabled overnight at Croxley Green.
