As soon as England are knocked out, can they take it off the DMI's? They won't have time to put it ON the DMIs

The BBC had a 200kW transmitter at WENVOE, on Band III Ch13 for BBC Wales. ITA had the 100kW ST HILARY site, (Ch7), and also the 100kW transmitter at PRESELY (Preslei), on Ch8. The famous MOEL-Y-PARC station of 1963 was small by comparison: only 25 kW on Ch. 11.
Because of the rugged landscape, numerous low-power repeaters were required, at Abergavenny, Bala, Brecon, Ffestiniog, Llandovery and Llandrindod Wells, among others.
All were gone by the end of January 1985, marking the end of the British television system in Wales.

If you don't want to know the results, look away now (but you might get on the wrong train)

If you don't want to know the results, look away now (but you might get on the wrong train) That is why we have train front/side DMIs or blinds

As much as I dislike the idea of using the LU system to advertise "results", I hope it is more accurate than the "good service" that is purported to be at times. What next - what won the 1.30 at Chepstow .....

Sorry, max number of letters for a horses name is 18, most of mine were called 'fell at the first' or 'alsoran' Last time I went racing I won on "Railway Dillon" at decent odds, but then I only ever bet £2 each way; big spender me! 18 letters does mean we could have "District Dave" though....

Play the Mile End knockout
PLATFORM ONE Woodford 1 Leyton 4
PLATFORM TWO West Ham 2 Barking 3
Barking will meet Leyton in the next round (presumably somewhere on the Goblin)

Joking aside for a moment, I saw some of this information for the first time today, but it wasn't on the DMIs. It was instead on the status update board(s) at Wimbledon, in the LU landing
