Did one of these tours a few years ago. Absolutely fascinating. Rode in open flat wagons through the tunnels (some tours run in open sections as well). All had to wear 'hard hats' and forbidden to stand up (I know that's sensible and obvious, but some people have to be told). If on a night when all-night services are running (e.g. Friday or Saturday), the "Bob the Builder Special" passing through stations surprises the late night punters, especially if they have had an alcohol-fuelled night!! All I can say is to do one if you can get booked. It is well worth the price (whatever that is now). Wunderbar .....

The link above says the tours run at the weekend between April and October, and the August to October dates go on sale on the 5th May, phone bookings take preference, email bookings are secondary preference.
