Next weekend, the Central line will be suspended between Liverpool Street and Marble Arch.
1) What is the planned service level east of Liverpool Street/west of Marble Arch?
2) I know how trains reverse east to west at Liverpool Street, but how can they be reversed west to east?
3) I know how trains reverse west to east at Marble Arch, but how will they reverse east to west?

Liverpool Street - train arrives in westbound platform, de trains, driver changes ends then train goes into siding. Train leaves siding to go into the eastbound platform, driver changes ends then drives the train eastbound as usual.
For Marble Arch see above, but substitute eastbound for westbound and vice versa.
Furthermore, at Liverpool Street, it is also possible to reverse west to east via the crossover to the west of the station. For this move, detrain in westbound platform then proceed over westbound line to limit of shunt mark. Then, change ends and drive over crossover into eastbound platform.

The "limit of shunt" board in the WB tunnel at Liverpool Street is easy to miss, its on the right where all the others are on the left. A few years ago we had a similar shutdown and one TOp didn't stop until they got to Bank.
The TOp doesn't change ends, what happens is another TOp gets on the back and takes it into the sidings. The original TOp takes it out onto the EB platform then gets off, the TOp who got on takes it east, the original TOp goes to the WB platform and gets on the back of another train. The same thing at Marble Arch with EB/WB switched.

They then get out, leaving the train to continue Westbound. The Train Op that got out goes back to the Eastbound platform and performs the same move on the next train, taking it on its Westbound journey. This is also referred to as "stepping back".
