Yes. I know this would be more relevant about a month ago but, Crossrail is halfway done! YAY! This thread will be about Crossrail (Surprise of all surprises) and how excited we are all for it. What would you do if you was in charge of Crossrail? Do you think this was a good idea in the first place? Discuss!

yeah i would try to aim to finish crossrail around 2015 then its would be good idea

It's not as if there are loads of spare units sitting around with nothing to do - indeed there are more new projects wanting to use the 319s to be cascaded from Thameslink than there are 319s available.

There's a load of 18M long articulated vehicles sitting in field somewhere, with a little bit of DIY magic you might get them running up and down the tunnels.....
